Room simulation for print sales + new Stripe payment methods

We’ve just rolled out a new PhotoDeck update, and here’s what’s new:

Room preview simulation for print sales

When selecting print sizes, customers will now see the image in simulated room environments. The virtual environment changes based on the selected size, from a bookshelf to a large residential hall. This will help customers choose the right size and complete their purchase.

The room preview is initially limited to products fulfilled by WhiteWall and to some compatible One Vision Imaging products. We plan to expand this new feature to more products.

In addition, the cropping area selection has been merged with the size selection, which makes it more usable especially on mobile devices.

To benefit from these improvements, please accept the prompt to update your desktop and mobile websites’ rendering engines.

New Stripe payment methods

The integration with Stripe has been updated so that you can now accept new payment methods popular in Europe:

• SEPA direct debit
• Giropay (Germany)
• Bancontact (Belgium)

These alternative payment methods can be activated as part of your Stripe settings in PhotoDeck, and must also be active in your Stripe account.
