Additional information and comments in client orders
We’ve just made available a nifty little feature:
You can now let clients and customers enter a message or note along their orders, right from the cart. For example, this makes it easy to get additional information for delivery. When a message is added, automated delivery is interrupted so you can read it before fulfilling the order.
In addition, you can let them add comments to every item in the cart: this is ideal for example to collect comments regarding editing / retouching to be done on files before delivery. The field label is customizable so you can add specific instructions.
The message and/or comments are then displayed on the order page in your administration space and in the email notification you receive, making it easy to process them.
Each feature can be enabled independently for best flexibility. You will find them in your pricing profiles (under the Settings tab), and you can therefore restrict this to specific cases or products.
